ABOUT US

Under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, Presidency of
Defense Industries (SSB), and the leadership of SSTEK Savunma Sanayi Teknolojileri
Inc., The Innovative and Advanced Technologies Fund was launched on September 8,
2021 in partnership with Vakıf Katılım Inc., Ziraat Katılım Bank Inc., and Development
Investment Bank Of Türkiye Inc.

The aim of this fund is not only to reduce the dependence of our defense industry on
foreign sources but also to support innovative technologies, known as deep
Technologies, and young entrepreneurs. Additionally, venture capital funds and
similar collective investment instruments will greatly contribute to sustainability in
both the defense industry and advanced technology investments. The fund,
established in accordance with the Capital Markets Legislation, is set up by Kalkınma
Verture Capital Portfolio Management Inc., a subsidiary of Development Investment
Bank Of Türkiye Inc. SSTEK Savunma Sanayi Teknolojileri Inc., is the new investor of
the fund. SSTEK supports the establishment of new companies or partnerships with
existing companies to develop and produce critical technologies for national defense.
The Innovative and Advanced Technologies Fund, in which SSTEK and Participation
Finance Institutions are the main investors, is established and managed by Kalkınma
Girişim Sermayesi Portföy Yönetimi Inc. in accordance with Participation Finance
principles, regulations of the Capital Markets Board (SPK). The fund's investment
committee consists of 4 representatives from SSTEK and 3 representatives from
Kalkınma Girişim Sermayesi Portföy Yönetimi Inc. Since the fund does not have legal
personality, decisions are made by the investment committee. The investors in the
fund, apart from SSTEK, are Vakıf Katılım Inc., Development Investment Bank Of
Türkiye Inc., and Ziraat Katılım Bank Inc. in order of their investment sizes.
