Definitions
Personal Data: Refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Personal Data Protection Law ("KVKK"): Refers to the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, which entered into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette on 7 April 2016.
SSTEK Defense Industry Technologies Inc. ("SSTEK"): Refers to the legal entity located at Balgat Neighborhood, 1419th Street, No: 16, Çankaya/ANKARA.
Data Processor: Refers to the natural or legal person who processes Personal Data on behalf of the Data Controller based on the authority granted by the Data Controller.
Data Controller: Refers to the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing Personal Data and is responsible for the establishment and management of the data recording system.
Data Controller
Pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Law, your personal data submitted to SSTEK for the purposes of receiving a price quotation, being informed about campaigns, applying for a job, or within the scope of an existing business relationship shall be evaluated by SSTEK Defense Industry Technologies Inc. under the conditions set out below.
WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?
The personal data that may be subject to processing by us are as follows:

In order to manage our technical and administrative risks, we may process your personal data through methods that are generally accepted in these areas and in accordance with legal and commercial practices and the principle of good faith. |
Purpose of Processing Personal Data
Pursuant to Articles 4, 5 and 6 of the KVKK, your personal data shall be processed in connection with SSTEK's activities in accordance with the following principles:
lawfully and in accordance with the principle of good faith; accurately and, where necessary, kept up to date; for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes; in a manner that is relevant, limited and proportionate to the purposes for which they are processed; and retained for the period stipulated under the relevant legislation or required for the purposes for which they are processed.
Transfer of Personal Data
Pursuant to Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, your personal data may be transferred, within the scope of the purposes stated above and in accordance with the conditions and purposes for processing personal data, to third parties deemed necessary for the continuation of the activities of SSTEK Defense Industry Technologies Inc., including SSTEK's affiliates, legally authorized public institutions and organizations, and legally authorized private law entities.
Method and Legal Basis for the Collection of Personal Data
Your personal data may be collected, processed and transferred by SSTEK through channels such as the SSTEK Sales/Accounting Department, based on different legal grounds, for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, in accordance with the fundamental principles stipulated under the KVKK and within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, in order to ensure the continuation of SSTEK's activities.
Rights of the Personal Data Subject
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, everyone has the right to apply to the Data Controller and exercise the following rights regarding themselves:
a) to learn whether their personal data is being processed;
b) to request information if their personal data has been processed;
c) to learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether such data is used in accordance with its purpose;
d) to know the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, whether domestically or abroad;
e) to request the rectification of personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately;
f) to request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions set forth under Article 7 of the KVKK;
g) to request that the actions carried out pursuant to subparagraphs (d) and (e) be notified to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred;
h) to object to the occurrence of a result against the person themselves through the analysis of processed data exclusively by automated systems; and
i) to request compensation for damages in the event that they suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of personal data.
If you submit a written application to SSTEK regarding your rights stated above, your request shall be responded to free of charge within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.
Your application must be clear and understandable, and must be submitted together with documents verifying your identity and address information. The application must be delivered in writing, bearing a wet signature, either by hand, by post or through a notary public to the address Balgat Neighborhood, 1419th Street, No: 16, Çankaya/ANKARA.
